Under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 you are entitled to a compulsorily right subject to conditions, to extend your Lease by an additional 50 years. In order to exercise this right, you must serve notice on your Landlord of your request to extend the Lease term.  However, before such notice can be served you must qualify under the following conditions:- you must hold the property on a long Lease of 21 years or over and have held the Lease of your property for at least two years.
