I want to rent out my flat. Can I do this?
You are recommended to check the terms of your Lease before you let your flat out as it may contain a restriction prohibiting you from doing so. Although it is more than likely that the restriction will be limited to letting ‘part only’ of the flat. You should check the position with your landlord and would also be advised to obtain consent from your lender to the tenancy should you have a mortgage on the property.
