What are property information forms?
Made up of two or three forms – property information, fixtures, fittings and contents and leasehold information if it is leasehold. Gives all the initial information needed by the buyers – forms must be completed accurately to the best of the seller’s knowledge – seller can be liable for compensation if information is withheld or incorrect information given – need only answer to the best of your knowledge – can legitimately answer “don’t know” if you genuinely don’t
