Support the victims of the Lehman Brother's collapse

In an earlier blog I recommended a grab what you can and scatter policy with regard to our current economic climate. It is heartening to see that the ‘staff’ at Lehman Brothers have taken my advice so literally.

Unsure of whether they will be paid this month desperate employees grabbed anything that was not nailed down and rushed to post it on e-bay. The on-line store is now full of the usual tacky crap that large financial institutions feel the need to knock out on mass (at what point every bank in the city decided baseball caps with the company logo on were a good call I have no idea).

The items range from a luxury Lehman Brothers' collectible cigar humidor to a small black Lehman Brothers' stress ball. Someone more apophenic than I may read something into that.

There are also several Lehman Brother emergency evacuation kits available. They are listed as containing a breathing mask, goggles, a small torch and evacuation instructions. There is no indication as to whether they contain the job section of the local paper.

Don't delay, get to e-bay and grab your Lehman's stuff today and support those in need. Follow this link to help: Poor City Boy Appeal

Remember, every item you buy could help to pay the groundrent on a Nottinghill property, or perhaps maintain the tenuous relationship between a trader and trophy wife for at least another week. So please, open your hearts and give generously. Thank you.

(I have just remembered I have got a Merryl Lynch gym bag at home and a Baring’s baseball cap somewhere. To start the bidding drop me an e-mail)
