Nuclear Bunker for sale on Ebay |
Overlooking the stunning Peak District this property is a must for survivalists, hermits and the Bond villain on a budget. A rare chance to own your very own nuclear bunker has come up on auction site ebay.
Bidding for the bunker has reached £25,200 attracting 42 bids, so far. With only two days to go of bidding you better hurry to get your hands on this piece of cold war history.
In addition to having much of its original equiptment there is even a BT phone line, which will come in useful if anyone else survives. Access is via a strong metal hatch and a 15ft ladder, which leads to two rooms and a chemical toilet.
The bunker is an ex-ROC post built during the cold war. The site was designed to monitor attacks from the Soviet Union in the 1950s, a time when fiery, mutually assured destruction seemed an immanent possibility.
The Soviets may have gone but who knows when the next nuclear apocalypse will be round the corner. It could be North Korea, Pakistan or maybe even the French. Better to be safe than sorry.
Full specifications and requirements of sale of the property are listed here on the ebay post. |
